The Salem Volunteer Fire Department is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1979 by members of the local community. We operate Fire and EMS services to western Culpeper County as well as mutual aid to other areas in Culpeper and surrounding counties. The department is entirely staffed by volunteers. We are located at 13428 Scotts Mill Road in Culpeper, Virginia. We accept mail in and online donations. Mission Statement: The Mission of the Corporation shall be the preservation and protection of life and property from fire and to provide assistance in any emergency to the citizens of Culpeper County, Virginia, and vicinity twenty-four (24) hours a day each calendar year.
